Kenyan-American Huldah Momanyi Wins Minnesota House Seat

In a groundbreaking electoral achievement, Kenyan-American Huldah Momanyi Hiltsley has etched her name in American political history by becoming the first Kenyan-born elected official in the United States, securing a seat in the Minnesota House of Representatives.

Running on the Democratic–Farmer–Labor (DFL) Party ticket, Momanyi demonstrated strong voter support, capturing an impressive 64.78% of the votes in Minnesota’s District 38A.
