Suspected Kware killer arrested, confesses to Killing 42 People

In  what appears to be a major breakthrough, law enforcement has apprehended an individual believed to be behind the gruesome killings and body dumpings at the Kware dumpsite in Embakasi, Nairobi.

The arrest marks a significant development in a case that has shocked the nation.

Mohammed Amin, the head of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), revealed on Monday that the suspect, identified as Collins Jumaisi Khalusa, has admitted to murdering 42 women.

This killing spree, according to Khalusa’s confession, took place between 2022 and July 11, 2024, and shockingly includes the murder of his own wife, “Imelda”.

Dealing with a “Psychopathic Serial Killer”

Jumaisi was apprehended during a pre-dawn raid at 1 am on Monday in Kayole, after investigators successfully tracked his mobile phone signal. Mr. Amin explained the breakthrough:

In a chilling detail, authorities revealed that Jumaisi was in the process of luring his next potential victim, a woman named Susan, at the time of his arrest. The police have requested Susan to provide a statement to aid their investigation.

The suspect’s proximity to the crime scene is notable. Officers involved in the arrest stated that Jumaisi’s residence is merely 500 meters from the Kware dumpsite, an abandoned quarry where at least eight women’s bodies had been recovered by Sunday evening.

Following his arrest, Jumaisi reportedly led detectives to the dumpsite after confessing to the series of murders that have horrified the country.
