The Story Behind Oga Obinna’s Dispute with DEM Wa Facebook

Samuel WainainaNovember 21, 2024November 21, 2024

Renowned entertainer Oga Obinna has broken his silence on the increasingly speculated rift between himself and his former mentee, Dem Wa Facebook.

The first public indication of trouble emerged when content creator Mama Kaunty publicly addressed the situation, pointing to underlying issues that led to the termination of their popular weekly show. In a candid statement that hinted at deeper tensions, Mama Kaunty lamented:

“Fans, we have become too much until we are destroying it. So much pressure to a point even the morale to work goes down.”

A significant moment that fueled speculation was Obinna’s notable absence during Dem Wa Facebook’s birthday celebration on Wednesday, November 20. This conspicuous non-appearance seemed to underscore the growing distance between the former collaborators.

Obinna Speaks

When directly questioned about the status of their show and relationship, Obinna offered the following response:

“I am not okay talking about it because I did a video saying time is a constant and reveals everything. I would not like to get into it as it’s unnecessary.

“I am not promising that the show will return. Possibilities are limitless when God is involved. God is in people, and so is the devil,” he said, leaving fans and followers with more questions than answers.

A Professional Separation?

Perhaps most definitively, Obinna admitted that he and Dem Wa Facebook are currently in a state of professional limbo, explicitly stating that he no longer works with her.

This declaration seems to mark a clear, if not final, end to their creative partnership.

The story continues to unfold, with fans and media alike speculating about the exact nature of their falling out and what the future might hold for both entertainers.
