Francis Ng’ang’a, a prominent businessman, has expressed his profound grief through a moving tribute to his beloved wife, Lucy Wambui Ng’ang’a.
The couple’s journey began when they tied the knot in 2003, marking the start of a 24-year partnership filled with love, family, and entrepreneurial success.
Building a Legacy Together
Their union was blessed with four children, and together they built a thriving business empire. Francis acknowledged his wife’s instrumental role in their business success, highlighting their journey from humble beginnings to their current achievements.
In his emotional tribute, Francis shared:
“Stand here mourning the loss of my dear wife of 24 years, Wambui I will dearly miss you it’s interesting how the many years we had together just went by you were my everything my dear wife, my business partner and my confidant….. we did seasons together from when we met, we started growing from being just the two of us but also blessed with our four lovely children. Look at our business today. We have grown it together, thank you for everything you have always been to us.”
A Heart of Gold
Lucy was renowned for her philanthropic spirit and generosity. She dedicated significant time and resources to various charitable causes, particularly focusing on children’s welfare. She regularly visited children’s homes and sponsored the education of numerous underprivileged students.
Francis captured her charitable nature:
“The way you cared for me and the children, everyone around us, family and non-family, always making sure everyone around us was ok, the various charities you were involved in visiting the children’s homes and helping the needy children, sponsoring several of them through school.”
He added:
“I have so many memories that are printed in my memory, we have travelled to various places both locally to internationally with you and the children, doing a mix of fun and business, you have been a pillar in our home, and we will miss you so much my dear and will forever cherish our memories together. Rest with the Angels and may perpetual light shine on your soul. Till we meet again I will be saying ‘Wambui in the house.'”
The funeral service for Lucy, a mother of four, is scheduled for Tuesday, November 5, at her family farm in Red Hill Limuru, as confirmed by her son.
