Allegations Of The Viral Message
The viral message included an alleged confession from someone claiming to be an examiner:
“Hello Wanjabi, I was part of the team marking KCSE. Results have been mixed up, KNEC is planning to give results randomly.”
The social media post went further, suggesting that parents could manipulate their children’s grades to achieve an A plain.
KNEC responded by categorically rejecting all these allegations about the examination marking process.
This came after the release of the 2024 KCSE results where candidates are advised to check the results using the results portal results.knec.ac.ke.
