The ongoing feud between well-known socialite Huddah Monroe and Member of Parliament Peter Salasya has taken a dramatic turn, with Salasya being the latest to launch a verbal attack.
This dispute, which has transformed from mutual admiration to intense rivalry, shows no signs of abating as both parties continue to exchange barbs on social media platforms.
The conflict recently escalated when Huddah made a provocative claim about Salasya’s financial gestures towards her. She asserted that the MP had sent her a sum of 10,000 Kenyan Shillings, an amount she dismissed as insignificant.
To emphasize her point, Huddah shared screenshots purportedly showing a much larger transaction of 2 million Kenyan Shillings.
Huddah took to her Instagram stories to express her disdain, stating:
“This guy sent me Ksh 10,000 which I didn’t even notice. Coz I do Ksh 50,000 give away. Mimi si kienyeji bro. Tafuta size yako.”
Salasya’s Rebuttal
In a swift and forceful response, MP Salasya took to social media to counter Huddah’s claims. He accused her of misrepresenting their interactions and alleged that she had been persistently requesting financial assistance from him through private messages.
Salasya began his rebuttal by saying:
“Nimefika Uganda vizuri and I will be giving a video ,but ni mzee kuniliko na mkora ,she edited an mpesa ati ali receive 2M mpesa and yet we know in Kenya the maximum is 500k .She is broke everyday she was asking money from me through WhatsApp hadi akanipa number yake ya Kenya nikamuonea huruma nikasema let me Just help her with 10000 while I was in mombasa.”
The MP didn’t stop there. He proceeded to accuse Huddah of engaging in fraudulent activities, alleging that she had been deceiving men and promoting non-existent beauty products.
Salasya claimed:
“I was marketing for a scam product about her line of beauty products kumbe ilikuwa hot air .She told me she have a physical shop hapo nation centre kumbe ilikuwa uongo she doesnt own nothing their .I felt so bad for lying to Kenyans for marketing a hot air products.”
To further substantiate his allegations, Salasya brought up a past controversy involving Huddah and an individual known as Hashpappy. He alleged:
“I only realised she is broke after noticing she was held in communicado and hostage in dubai for two yrs after eating money belonging to hashpapy who was stealing money from USA through fraud and as we speak now hashpapy has been jailed for life sentence after FBI coming for him in dubai .This is the reason the lady came with nothing from dubai after coning men for decades .The dubai security forces confesticated everything belonging to her because she was being investigated for conspiracy. From today henceforth I will never want to associate myself with a socialite.”
In conclusion, Salasya asserted his superior financial status compared to Huddah and expressed forgiveness for her allegations against him:
“Am more richer than her and I forgive her for calling my 10k lunch for kuku na ni yeye aliitisha pesa na hiyo ni school fees ama pesa ya mchango matanga mbili”
As of now, Huddah Monroe has not issued a response to Salasya’s accusations. However, given the intensity of their ongoing conflict, it appears that this feud is far from reaching a resolution.
