Njugush and Ndinda Add To Matatu Fleet, Naming New Vehicle After Son Toria

Renowned comedian Timothy Kimani, popularly known as Njugush, and his wife Celestine Ndinda have added a second matatu to their growing transport business.

The couple, who recently ventured into the industry, have named their latest acquisition after their second son, Toria. This move comes just months after they launched their first matatu, named “Tugi,” after their firstborn son, in April 2024.

The new matatu, which operates under the Super Metro Sacco, is already making waves on the Nairobi-Kitengela route.

Celestine took to Instagram to share a video showcasing the sleek and luxurious interior of the vehicle. The matatu features a bold imprint of the name “Toria” prominently displayed at the top of the screen.

Inside, the ride is adorned with portraits of notable celebrities, including the late Njamby Koikai, adding a touch of personality and flair to the vehicle.

The couple’s eldest son, Tugi, had an adorable reaction when he first saw the matatu named after him. Celestine captured the moment in a video, which she shared with her followers.

In the clip, Tugi is seen standing in front of the matatu, momentarily stunned by its impressive appearance. His face lights up with a broad smile as he turns to his mother, clearly proud and excited.
